Daystar™ utilizes current CAD/CAE/CAM (computer-aided design, engineering, and manufacturing) technology and techniques to remain state-of-the-art. Computer design capability includes 2D and 3D modeling, surface and solid modeling, finite element analysis, virtual prototyping, and more.
Once the tooling is designed, it is fabricated in house and interfaced with advanced CNC machining capability.
Daystar™'s boot design software was developed exclusively by Daystar™ for the purpose of designing and predicting performance parameters of boot/bellows. This enables Daystar™ to provide engineering support to its customers in rapid design of boots/bellows. This technology has been extended to polyurethane part and tool design. Daystar™ can provide a "computer generated photograph" of a part to its customers such that early press releases can be generated prior to the products actual construction and fabrication.
Quality control test facility includes a fully equipped laboratory to perform tests to ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) standards of rebound, hardness, elongation, tensile, and tear. Daystar™ subscribes to ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) protocols for all of its testing and standards. All of Daystar's processes also conform to rigorous ISO9001 quality control standards. |
